Treatment Room Hygiene and Covid-19

As a treatment room specialising in bespoke, and clinical treatments, I have always delivered an incredibly high level of cleanliness, and will continue to maintain the highest levels of general hygiene.

I have missed being able to offer you the treatments that I know you love, and I am looking forward to seeing you again as soon as possible.

My priority is to keep you safe, I would like to reassure you of the following;

I have completed the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Prevention and Control course which is accredited by the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists Ltd., the UK trade body for our industry.
I have always understood the importance of rigorous hand hygiene, and continue this strict practice.
I have now allowed additional time between treatments for extra in-depth cleaning of the treatment room, and communal areas. All common surfaces are disinfected between clients.
Laundering of all towels, couch coverings and uniforms is carried out at 60 degrees Celsius.
All tools and equipment will be disinfected or sterilised, with medical grade solutions, in line with the specific manufacturer’s instructions.
I will be wearing PPE, consisting of mask, disposable apron and gloves.
Bathroom facilities are available, as always. This area is cleaned and disinfected between each use.
An air filtration and cleansing system has been installed to provide extra ventilation.
Wherever possible I will utilise environmentally friendly, single use items during a treatment that will be disposed of safely, to protect you from cross-infection.
I have carried out risk assessments on all treatments and am confident that I can continue to provide these safely.

If I feel ill or have symptoms of COVID-19, I will self-isolate immediately. This may mean that I have to cancel your appointment at short notice. I appreciate that this may be inconvenient but I will rebook it as soon as possible. If you, or anyone you live with, feel ill or display any symptoms of covid-19, please let me know and do not come to your appointment. You will not be charged and I will happily rearrange.

For your safety, and to maintain social distancing, please may I ask you observe the following:-

Attend your appointment as close to the appointment time as possible. Please do not arrive early as this may mean that you come into contact with other clients who are just leaving.
On arrival you will be greeted with hand sanitiser ( no hugs unfortunately!).
Please wear a face mask, this can be removed for facial treatments as they commence.
